Bio

From listening to music in my childhood bedroom in Raleigh, NC to writing songs with my friends and making beats with machines, music has helped me understand intricacies of the world from Brooklyn to Compton, Brixton to Brockton, Adamsville to the Eastside of Detroit. My passion for music led me to NYC in January 1997 with a dream to get into the industry and produce some of my favorite rappers. Within a couple years I’d worked with the Ruff Ryders, De La Soul, and later DMX and 50 Cent. I was offered an A&R position and jumped at the chance to use label resources to empower young artists.

Since those early days I’ve had a long-time relationship with Eminem’s Shady Records and Paul Rosenberg’s Goliath Artists, where I’ve managed Danny Brown for 13 years; a COVID-era experience at Def Jam; and four incredible years with Loma Vista Recordings, where I signed Killer Mike and released his three-time Grammy-winning MICHAEL. My latest projects are forthcoming albums by HiTech and Mavi, to be released later this year. I am always looking for new opportunities and like-minded creatives to make noise with.

Ideology

I’m drawn to artists who challenge expectations, redefine genres, and move culture forward. I believe lasting success comes from championing originality, not chasing trends. My role is to recognize an artist’s strengths, challenge them when needed, and help them become the clearest expression of who they already are. I’m grateful to work with the artists and creators who make music such a powerful connection—and I’m always looking for the next true iconoclast.
